Accreditation Process

What is Accreditation?

It is a process whereby the qualifications and capabilities of health care providers are verified in accordance with the guidelines, standards and procedures set by the Corporation.

Why the need for accreditation?

To participate in the National Health Insurance Program.
To assure that health care services rendered by them are of the desired and expected quality.

Who may apply?
  • Hospital – Level 1, 2 or 3
  • Hospital Extension Facility (HEF)
  • Infirmary
  • Ambulatory Surgical Clinic (ASC)
  • Freestanding Dialysis Clinic (FDC)
  • Maternity Care Package (MCP) Provider
  • TB DOTS Package Provider
  • Freestanding Family Planning (FP) Clinic
  • Outpatient HIV AIDS Treatment (OHAT) Package Provider
  • Community Isolation Units (CIUs) as COVID-19 Community Isolation Benefit Package (CCIBP) Provider
  • COVID-19 Home Isolation Benefit Package (CHIBP) Provider
  • SARS-CoV-2 Testing Laboratory
  • Outpatient Malaria Package (OMP) Provider
  • Primary Care Package Provider (Konsulta)
  • Animal Bite Package Provider (ABPP)
  • Drug Abuse Treatment and Rehabilitation Center (DATRC)
  • Cancer Treatment Facilities
  • Other HFs as deemed necessary by the Corporation
When to apply?
  • Initial or Re-accreditation - ANYTIME
  • Renewal
    • October 1 to the last working day of the year.
