PhilHealth VP for Corporate Affairs Guests on 'Usapang de Campanilla' on DZMM June 14, 2012

PhilHealth Vice President for Corporate Affairs Group Gregorio C. Rulloda recently guested in "Usapang de Campanilla," a public service program which airs from 9:00 to 10:00 p.m. over DZMM 630 KHz-AM. The show was hosted by Marisciel Yao.

Rulloda discussed the Animal Bite Treatment Package (ABTP), a new benefit which PhilHealth launched last May 18 of this year in Malabon City . He explained in detail what the ABTP is all about, for the benefit of the listeners and viewers of the program through Teleradyo. He also emphasized that although the ABTP primarily covers dog bites, persons bitten by other domestic animals like cats and livestock such as cows, pigs, horses, goats, as well as wild animals like bats and monkeys, may also be covered. He also answered phone-in questions and explained in length various concerns sent by radio listeners through text.

He also assured listeners and viewers on the readiness of the Animal Bite Treatment Centers (ABTCs) recognized by the Department of Health and private Animal Bite Centers (ABCs) to give the full range of services to members bitten by any of the above-mentioned animals.
