PhilHealth Joins Umagang Kay Ganda Kapamilya Services May 16, 2012

SEVERAL government agencies including the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) recently provided frontline services at the Dolphy Garden of the ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation's compound in Quezon City, primarily to new graduates looking for jobs.

The activity was part of the early TV program 'Umagang Kay Ganda's' segment known as ‘Kapamilya services’, a one-stop venue where new graduates inquired about and updated their personal records with the different agencies usually required for pre-employment such as BIR, LTO, NSO, PhilPOST and PhilHealth.

More than 100 visitors trooped to the infodesk and a total of 142 PhilHealth ID cards and member data records were printed and distributed to existing members. Information materials on PhilHealth benefits, Case Rates Payment, and procedures in ensuring continued membership coverage were also distributed.

Other infodesk visitors sought updates on their filed claims, some inquired about their premium contributions while others submitted their PhilHealth Member Registration Forms (PMRFs) with supporting documents for MDR updating and ID issuance.

PhilHealth Vice President for Corporate Affairs Group Gregorio C. Rulloda, was interviewed by UKG segment host Winnie Cordero regarding PhilHealth’s animal bite benefit package and other membership concerns.
