PhilHealth Infodesks Soon at Robinson's MallsJuly 14, 2011

Members of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) may soon update their records, pay their premiums or have their ID cards and member data records printed at Robinson's Malls nationwide.

The recent signing of a Memorandum of Agreement between PhilHealth and Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC), owner and operator of the Robinson's Mall chain, will enable shoppers and mall-goers to transact business with PhilHealth while relaxing and shopping inside their favorite Robinson's Malls. The MOA was signed by PhilHealth President and CEO Dr. Rey B. Aquino, PhilHealth OIC-Group Vice President for Member Management Alberto C. Manduriao, RLC President and COO, Mr. Frederick D. Go and RLC General Manager for Commercial Center Division Arlene G. Magtibay.

The PhilHealth Service Desk will provide frontline assistance such as new member registration, updating of member's accounts, generation of ID and MDRs, and acceptance of premium premium payments from members and employers. The service desk will be open during business hours, Mondays to Fridays.

This development is in line with the new devised marketing strategy of RLC called "Lingkod Pinoy Center " which is designed to bring in more patrons to their malls and increase the sales of the shops and stores housed in Robinson's Malls. To date, there are 29 Robinson's Malls nationwide and RLC is expecting to build 12 more this year to bring its brand of shopping experience closer to more and more Filipinos nationwide.

Other government agencies such as the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Land Registration Authority (LRA), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Department of Tourism (DOT), Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) and the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) have already agreed to set-up their respective off-site offices in Robinson's Malls nationwide.
