Aquino explains to Saludar the advantages of applying case rates
NEVER mind if the media guesting fell on a late Saturday afternoon.
Dr. Rey B. Aquino, PhilHealth President and CEO went to the Net 25 studio within the New Era University compound in Quezon City just the same, to inform the public about the upcoming standardized rate of benefit payments for at least 22 illnesses.

In an interview with veteran host Ely Saludar on the program "IBalita Weekend Report," Aquino emphasized that PhilHealth will be introducing fixed benefit rates for at least 11 medical illnesses and 11 surgical procedures to help contain the cost of health care services. He added that the new rates will hopefully be released before the end of the second quarter, after fine-tuning activities are completed.
PhilHealth is financially stable and is able to pay for its members' hospitalization benefits, assures Aquino
The PhilHealth Chief also assured the public about PhilHealth's financial stability, and announced that the health insurance agency has just launched its very own Call Center. (Documentation by Moppet B. Varlez and Rey T. Baleña, Public Affairs Department)
