WAKING up early is not easy especially if it is a Sunday. But for PhilHealth President and CEO Dr. Rey B. Aquino, service to members was all worth it.
Aquino recently guested on the early morning radio program, "Magandang Morning" over DZMM 630 KHz-AM hosted by Alvin Elchico and Chiara Zambrano who substituted for Julius and TinTin Babao for that episode.
The main topic discussed was the case payment scheme that PhilHealth will be implementing soon. Aquino explained in detail what the case payment scheme is all about, for the benefit of the listeners and viewers of the program through Teleradyo. He also responded to at least 20 questions received via short messaging system (SMS) while PAD staffmembers Amie Buted and Glo Pactores handled 11 phone-in questions.
Elchico lauded Aquino saying, "...it is not very often that one can invite a head of an agency for an interview early in the morning and on a Sunday at that."
Aquino was requested by the anchors if he could stay on until the end of the program for the numerous text questions and the PhilHealth Chief gladly obliged and earnestly answered each and every query. (END)
