PhilHealth Chief Graced The "Kaagapay" Program Over UNTV Public Service ChannelMarch 1, 2011

Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) President and CEO Dr. Rey B. Aquino recently graced the "Kaagapay" program over UNTV Public Service Channel to promote the PhilHealth Call Center and discuss in detail the recently-launched 22 medical and surgical procedures which will soon be reimbursed via case-based rate payment system.

He explained that the gradual departure from the traditional "fee-for-service" scheme will greatly benefit both the members and their health care providers and that these developments will take place in the second quarter of this year.

Interviewing Aquino were (L-R) seasoned broadcaster Annie Rentoy, dermatologist Dr. Daisy Lim-Camitan, and Liga ng mga Brodkaster President Lakay Rolly Gonzalo.

Aquino also replied to several questions from audiences gathered in Sorsogon City beamed live and in real time via UNTV's web casting.
