Also present during the signing ceremonies were PhilHealth Senior Managers Evangeline F. Racelis of Treasury, Victoria D. Pablo of Comptrollership, Henry V. Almanon of Special Programs, and Arsenia B. Torres of Corporate Planning, and for ChinaBank Savings, Inc. were Mr. Emmanuel C. Geronimo, Vice-President and Operations Head, Mr. Agustin E. Dingle, Jr., Vice President and Compliance Head, Mr. Bienvenido C. Hidalgo, Senior Assistant Vice President and Branch Banking Group Head, and Ms. Janice S. Ty, Marketing Manager.

ChinaBank Savings, formerly Manila Bank, is a thrift bank with semi-automated collection scheme. To date, it has a total of 18 branches nationwide which "offer PhilHealth members especially their existing clients more payment windows to fulfill their obligations to the program and at the same time ensure their family's health" Aquino said.

It also committed to help PhilHealth in its information dissemination efforts by allowing the distribution of reading materials to clients transacting in their branches.

When paying through ChinaBank Savings, members and employers should submit a duly accomplished PhilHealth Premium Payment Slip to the bank's representative. A validated PhilHealth Agent Receipt is then issued as official receipt of premium payments. END
