PhilHealth Joins Kabisig National Government Expo 2011 July 1, 2011

True to its objective of putting service first before self, PhilHealth joined the 2011 Kabisig National Expo held last June 10 to 13, 2011 at the SM Mall of Asia.

With the theme "Maging Mabuting Pilipino: Makialam, Maki-Alam at Makipagtulungan sa Pamahalaan", the said event was spearheaded by the Kabisig People's Movement and fully supported by the Office of the President with the issuance of Memorandum Circular No. 12.

The project aims to bring together in one venue all government agencies and instrumentalities to feature their products and services in order to heighten public awareness and understanding on how their respective agencies contribute to national development.

An exhibit and service booth was set up by the Public Affairs Department in coordination with a team from NCR South's Makati Service Office. Over 1,550 guests have been served by the said booth, 1,000 of whom were issued their PhilHealth cards.

In recognition of PhilHealth's support and active participation, a plaque of appreciation was given by Kabisig Chairman Daniel Guillen at the close of the three-day event. ALB
