STRONGER PHILHEALTH AND SSS LINKAGE FOR BETTER SOCIAL PROTECTION04-23-2025

The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation sincerely extends its gratitude to the Social Security System delegation led by SSS President and CEO Robert Joseph M. De Claro who paid a courtesy visit with Acting PCEO Dr. Edwin M. Mercado yesterday to discuss important areas of collaboration in aid of improving social protection for Filipinos.

Among those discussed include Konsulta registration via the SSS portal, unified member data validation with the Philippine ID System (PhilSys), and other social security initiatives with other agencies such as Pag-IBIG and GSIS under the purview of the Philippine Social Security Association (PhilSSA) of which PhilHealth is an active member.

The SSS delegation also included Chief of Staff Atty. Jonathan Gary Jimenez, Executive Vice President Voltaire Agas, and Executive Vice President Elvira Resare; while Dr. Mercado is joined by VP Lemuel Untalan and Acting Senior Manager Marinet Arpon of the Member Management Group.

We look forward to stronger linkage and partnership with the SSS and PhilSSA, in keeping with President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.'s call to ensure access and availability of social protection services anywhere in the country. ###
