PRESIDENT IN ACTION: ACTING PRESIDENT AND CEO (APCEO) DR. EDWIN MERCADO MEETS WITH IT SECTOR LEADERS AND REPRESENTATIVES TO OPTIMIZE ELECTRONIC BENEFITS SYSTEMS 04-21-2025

Last 21st of April 2025, Dr. Edwin Mercado convened with PhilHealth IT sector leaders and representatives to discuss potential improvements on PhilHealth’s current electronic benefits systems and processes.

The discussion focused on optimizing existing programs such as the eClaims, eSOA (Electronic Statement of Account), and Konsulta Service v1.1. Enhancements were also planned for existing processes implemented for electronic systems improvement such as Shadow Billing.

Through optimizing the aforementioned electronic systems and processes, PhilHealth aims to facilitate the ease of online claims processing and improve the overall availment process for members. Moreover, these improvements are also expected to better accommodate adjustments and/or additions to existing benefits packages.
