PhilHealth-NCR & Rizal promotes UHC through reel-making contest 10-28-2024

The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth)-National Capital Region and Rizal Regional Office (PRO-NCR & Rizal) headed by Dr. Bernadette C. Lico recently held its #Nag-4MKNB? reel-making contest among Grade 8 students in the region. Said competition was aimed at promoting the basics of Universal Health Care (UHC) and participation in the National Health Insurance Program which PhilHealth administers.

4M stands for Magparehistro, Magbayad ng kontribusyon, Mag-update ng record, at Mag-claim ng benepisyo. These are the simple steps in ensuring immediate availment of PhilHealth benefits which range from primary care to inpatient and outpatient coverage, and even catastrophic illnesses such as cancers.

The Philippine Christian University Union High School of Manila aced the competition with a rating of 90.25% and took home P15,000 in cash prize. Meanwhile, ParaƱaque Science High School placed second with a score of 87%, while Rizal High School took the third place with 82.75%.

PhilHealth continues its UHC campaign through various activities, including reel-making competitions, to promote PhilHealth benefits, programs, and services to all Filipinos, especially among the youth. ###
