The PhilHealth Regional Office (PRO)-CAR provided frontline services to over 800 Cordillerans from the different municipalities in Benguet Province during the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF) at the Benguet State University (BSU), together with the provincial and municipal health held in their “Pista sa Nayon” booth.
The two-day caravan showcased a wide array of services, including membership registration, records updating, issuance of PhilHealth IDs and Member Data Record, and Konsulta (Konsultasyong Sulit at Tama) registration consultations for some 400 members.
Konsulta is PhilHealth’s expanded primary care benefit package that covers consultations, health screening and assessment, diagnostic and laboratory tests, and medicines for certain conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and hypertension.
In addition, the team also addressed inquiries about benefits and availment procedures, online payment methods, and accreditation process for health facilities and professionals.
PRO-CAR Vice President Dominga A. Gadgad expressed her satisfaction with the BPSF in the region. She praised the prompt and friendly service offered during the fair, aligned with the BPSF mantra of "Mabilis, Maayos, Masaya at Maginhawang Serbisyo."
Participation in activities such as this reaffirms PhilHealth's commitment to delivering fast and efficient services throughout the region. Gadgad also applauded all partner government agencies for their support in dispensing financial risk protection through the continued expansion of PhilHealth benefits. ###
