With the vision to provide PhilHealth services to close to 120,000 population (2019 data) of the municipality of Guimba and to other clients from neighboring municipalities, PhilHealth Regional Office (PRO) III recently inaugurated the Guimba PhilHealth Express.
PRO III Vice President Dr. Elizabeth S. Fernandez led the launching ceremony together with Branch A Manager Lemuel T. Untalan, Branch B Manager Dr. Raul B. Tuquero, and Gapan Local Health Insurance Office Chief Social Insurance Officer Angelito Creencia. The event was graced by Guimba Mayor Jose R. Dizon and Rev. Fr. Josix Darwin R. Tolentino who officiated the blessing of the office with the presence of officers, employees, and various stakeholders in the area.
The year 2019 was a great year for PhilHealth with the passage of the Universal Health Care Act and its Implementing Rules and Regulations that took effect on November 22, 2019 paving the way to further widen PhilHealth's coverage and benefits. The inauguration of the PhilHealth Express in Guimba is a strong manifestation of PhilHealth's commitment to the UHC in so far as reaching out to as many Filipinos as possible, particularly those from far away municipalities.
Located at the ground floor of JCB Building in Brgy. Cawayang Bugtong, Guimba, Nueva Ecija, the newly established PhilHealth Express will bring its services closer to the guimbanians and other clients near the location.
The Guimba PhilHealth Express provides services such as generation of PhilHealth Identification Number (PIN), printing of ID and Member Data Record (MDR), registration, and data amendment, among others. It has an information center for all walk-in inquiries. (END)
