PhilHealth Region XII Office breaks ground for future office building July 12, 2019
The groundbreaking ceremony for the 2,089 sq.m.lot donated to PRO XII by the City of Koronadal at the Prime Regional Center, Gen. Santos Drive, City of Koronadal.
"If it is meant to be, it will be. I believe this lot is meant for PhilHealth. It was originally donated to GSIS but the plan was aborted. Being at the forefront of all the other Regional Government Offices in the area, you will be the next "face" of the Prime Regional Center...," said Koronadal City Mayor, Dr. Peter B. Miguel during the groundbreaking ceremony held on June 17, 2019 at the Prime Regional Center, Gen. Santos Drive City of Koronadal.
"It matters if you have your own space. There might be challenges going on internally but I believe that PhilHealth will last. I am sure of that because the foundation is already there. The new law that is coming up is in consonance with the direction of good health care that our government is claiming of. We are pushing for a strong health program here in the locality and it will raise the bar as far as health programs and activities are concerned. Mabuhay ang PhilHealth!", the Mayor added.
A Deed of Donation and Memorandum of Agreement signing for the donation of the 2,089 sq.m. lot to PhilHealth Regional Office XII took place 10 days prior to the ceremony.
Koronadal City Mayor Miguel (center in full green shirt) and PhilHealth AVP Bautista (center in brown top and khaki pants) lead the groundbreaking ceremony for the donated 2,089 sq.m.lot.
PhilHealth Area Vice President for Mindanao, Dr. Clementine A. Bautista appreciated the generosity of the city government and commits to deliver more for the members than what is expected from PhilHealth.
"On this site will soon rise PRO XII which I believe will house about 300 employees to serve our kababayans in the area. This seems to be a very good location since it is in the forefront where other relevant government agencies are also located. We are looking forward to better quality service for our members and stakeholders especially now that we are about to implement the Universal Health Care Law," the AVP said.
Then PRO XII Acting Regional Vice President Marjorie A. Cabrieto was very grateful since she was instrumental in making the lot donation a reality.
Also present during the occasion were PRO XI Acting RVP Atty. Ma. Emily P. Roque and PRO - Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) Acting RVP Dr. Sainuddin M. Moti, together with the key officers and personnel of PRO XII.
