THE Best Performing Private Hospital within the area of jurisdiction of Philippine Health Insurance Corporation’s Region III- Branch B is now contracted to provide Z Benefit Packages to PhilHealth members.
Since January 30 this year, Premiere Medical Center (Joseph Ray B. Yang Cancer Institute), which is one of PhilHealth’s Level 3 partner-health care providers, will be one with PhilHealth in “Giving Hope and Making Life Better” by being the first private hospital in Nueva Ecija to be contracted as a Z Benefits Provider.
The 150-bed hospital is located right at the heart of Cabanatuan City in Nueva Ecija.
The Z-Benefit Packages are offered by PhilHealth and contracted providers to alleviate difficulty and augment resources depleted, brought about by prolonged catastrophic illnesses and expensive treatments.
As a Z Benefit Provider, Premiere Medical Center will begin bringing Z Benefit packages and services for treatments of Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL) for children (P210,000); Early Stage of Breast Cancer (P100,000); and Cervical Cancer (Low Dose – P120,000 and High Dose/Linear Accelerator – P175,000).
A more convenient and accessible pre-authorization process will be undertaken by patients who will meet the eligibility requirements under these packages, with the assistance of a Z-Benefit coordinator in Premiere Medical Center.
At present, Region III has by far, the most number of contracted Z Benefit Providers nationwide. Three (3) are in Pampanga, namely, Jose B. Lingad Memorial Hospital (JBL) in the City of San Fernando which is contracted for the ALL and Breast Cancer packages; Angeles University Foundation (AUF) in Angeles City for Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG-P 550,000) and Kidney Transplant (P600,000); and Kapampangan Development Foundation (KDF) in the City of San Fernando for the ZMORPH Package (Prosthesis – P 15,000 to P 30,000).
Two (2) other contracted facilities are in Nueva Ecija, namely, Paulino J. Garcia Memorial Hospital (PJG) in Cabanatuan City for ALL, Breast and Prostate Cancer packages; and Premiere Medical Center (Joseph Ray B. Yang Cancer Institute) for ALL, Breast and Cervical Cancer packages. (Public Affairs Unit, PhilHealth Regional Office III)
