THE Philippine Health Insurance Corporation recently conferred recognition awards to its outstanding collecting partners.
The awards rite was conducted during its 4th Annual Agents Forum held at Dusit Thani Hotel in Makati City. Around 100 representatives of bank and non-bank collecting partners graced the said event.
The Special Citation award was given to LGU-Calauag, Quezon for having the highest transactions among other LGUs in CY 2014.
The Milestone Years on PhilHealth Collection Services was awarded to accredited collecting agents whose partnership with PhilHealth has reached 15 years, then every 5 years thereafter of continuous and uninterrupted collection services prior to CY 2014. These are: Land Bank of the Philippines (16 years), Development Bank of the Philippines (16 years), Philippine National Bank (16 years) and the Philippine Veterans Bank (15 years).
On the other hand, the Operational Efficiency Award was given to accredited collecting agents with automated schemes, namely: I-Remit, Inc., CIS Bayad Center, BancNet, Inc., Citibank, Security Bank Corporation, Bank of the Philippine Islands and Union Bank of the Philippines.
In addition, Certificates and Special Tokens were given to 37 ACAs in recognition of their collection outsourcing efforts. Awardees also received a plaque and PhilHealth’s 20th Anniversary commemorative medal.
The ACAs Forum is a yearly gathering of PhilHealth Accredited Collecting Agents (ACAs) for local and overseas collections to discuss issues, suggestions and other concerns in terms of premium collections and remittances of PhilHealth members. PhilHealth assured that all suggestions and issues raised during the open forum will be carefully handled for immediate action of the concerned offices.
