Mandaluyong City, October 10, 2014 - TODAY, the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) holds its third Kapihan with its President and CEO, Alexander A. Padilla at The Legend Villas.
Kapihan with the PCEO is a regular activity which aims to bring media partners "up close and personal" with the PCEO while being informed on the latest developments about PhilHealth.
In today's Kapihan, PhilHealth will launch the newest Z Benefit packages such as coverage for selected Orthopedic Implants and Peritoneal Dialysis.
Included in the Z benefit packages for selected orthopedic implants are implants for hip arthroplasty, hip fixation, petrochanteric fracture, and femoral shaft fracture. Members must pass the selections criteria. The package is available for all approved pre-authorization requests starting June 1, 2014.
On the other hand, the Z package for Peritoneal Dialysis provides substantial support to enable patients with end-stage renal disease to achieve better health outcomes. (END)
