PhilHealth NCR Turns over P1.1 M to Beneficiary July 4, 2013

THE Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) National Capital Region and Rizal area has recently turned over a total of P1.14 M to Cottolengo Filipino Inc. generated from the Manila leg of the first PhilHealth-DOH Nationwide Run for Mother and Child Protection held at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila on February 17, 2013. The said proceeds will help augment the institution’s medical supplies and health assistance to their recipients.

Cottolengo Filipino, Inc. is a private non-stock, non-profit religious and non-government organization licensed and accredited by the Department of Social Welfare and Development to help abandoned and disabled persons especially children. It is owned and managed by the Little Works of Devine Providence Congregation founded by Saint Luigi Orione, apostle of charity and father of the poor.
