PhilHealth official receives CSC Presidential Lingkod Bayan Award October 2, 2019
Pasig City - Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer Jovita V. Aragona was recently conferred the Presidential Lingkod Bayan (PLB) Award by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) in the National Capital Region (NCR).
The award was presented by CSC-NCR Director Nel Sherwin Carnetes on September 9, 2019 in simple rites held at PhilHealth head office in Pasig City in recognition of Aragona's exceptional contribution and commitment to public service delivery.
Aragona is the author of the PhilHealth Enterprise Architecture that defines the digital vision and strategy of the Corporation to integrate systems and achieve digital transformation. Prior to the CSC award, she was named 2018 DX (Digital Transformation) Leader and Visionary Information of the year by the International Data Corporation for achieving the mandate of the national health insurance through effective data management strategy with business intelligence and cloud technologies. She was also a recipient of the 2018 President and CEO's Award of Excellence under PhilHealth's Enhanced Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence or PRAISE.
The PLB awards forms part of CSC's annual nationwide Honor Awards Program that recognizes government officials and employees who have exhibited outstanding work performance. It also aims to motivate and inspire employees to improve their work performance and inculcate deeper involvement in providing public service.
