PhilHealth joins PGMA "Serbisyo Muna Caravan" -

THE Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) recently joined the People's Government Mobile Action or PGMA Serbisyo Muna Caravan in Dagat-dagatan District, Caloocan City where some 5,000 poor families benefitted from free dental and medical services, free haircut, and various forms of assistance given by participating government agencies that included PCSO, PAGCOR, NBI, OWWA, NHA, LTO, PAO, BIR, PITC, Maynilad Water, Pag-IBIG and TESDA.
Her Excellency Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo personally distributed rice and bags of grocery items to city folks together with Rep. Mary Mitzi Cajayon of Caloocan's Second District (behind PGMA).
Caloocan Service Office Chief Araceli Aguilar personally attends to a member who visited the PhilHealth information desk. More than 60 persons visited our booth and the most common questions raised were on benefits availment procedures and requirements needed for membership application.
Residents flocked to the PhilHealth information desk to ask questions and get information materials and membership forms.
