Premium Payment Deadline Extended for IPMs, KaSAPI Members in Calamity-Stricken Areas - July 14, 2008
THE Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) has extended the deadline for payment of 2nd quarter premium contributions of Individually Paying and KaSAPI members in calamity-stricken areas from June 30, 2008 to August 29, 2008.
All IPMs from these areas need only to present their barangay certification of residence while the concerned organized groups where KaSAPI members belong to shall fulfill the requirements when paying their members' premium contributions for the said quarter.
The extension is in consideration of the damages brought about by Typhoon Frank and other typhoons that adversely affected the ability of IPMs and KaSAPI members, specifically those residing in areas declared under state of calamity, to pay their premium contributions for the 2nd quarter of 2008 on time.
This development is in line with PhilHealth Board Resolution No. 1144, s-2008 dated June 26, 2008.
Payments may be made at the nearest PhilHealth Regional Offices and PhilHealth-accredited collecting banks and agents. For further inquiries, visit or call the PhilHealth Regional or Service Offices in these areas.
The original deadline of June 30, 2008 for 2nd quarter, however, still applies to provinces that were not adversely affected by the typhoons. (END)
