PhilHealth Inks MOA with Architectural and Engineering Design Firm

THE Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) recently turned over P23M in capitation of funds to the City Government of Makati in simple ceremonies held at the Office of City Mayor Jejomar Binay.

The capitation fund is a substantial portion of the health insurance premium being paid by the local government unit (LGU) to sustain the health insurance coverage of each enrolled indigent family in the city.

"We in Makati are thankful to have been covered by PhilHealth insurance," Binay said. Adding that, "We are proud to announce that 80% of the margenalized sector in Makati now have medical health insurance coverage through the courtesy of PhilHealth."
