PhilHealth, TSPI MoA Signing - June 2007
The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) recently signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with TSPI Development Corporation in order to ensure the continuous access to quality health care benefits of TSPI members under the National Health Insurance Program (NHIP). TSPI has been a partner of PhilHealth through the Organized Group (OG) Interface, Model 1 but since it was phased out in 2006, TSPI decided to pursue its partnership with PhilHealth through the “Kalusugang Sigurado at Abot-kaya sa PhilHealth Insurance (KaSAPI) Program.” Shown signing the MoA are (L-R): TSPI Executive Director Ruben C. Both PhilHealth and TSPI have agreed to conduct a comprehensive training among the identified Officers and Staff of the Organized Group in performing such activities as marketing, information, education and communication (IEC) campaign and advocacy; collection and application of the KaSAPI system monitoring thus, providing access to quality health care to its members.
