President Arroyo graces Serbisyo Caravan in Quezon City - August 16, 2007
President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo graced the Serbisyo Muna Caravan at the San Francisco Elementary School in Quezon City. She distributed Family Health Cards to indigent families in the city. With her in photo is Quezon City Mayor Feliciano Belmonte.
PhilHealth Acting President and CEO Lorna O. Fajardo and Quezon City Vice Mayor Herbert Bautista sort the cards before handing them over to indigent families in the city. Around 800 indigent families from the 1st District of Quezon City were enrolled under the Sponsored Program. The local government share in the annual premium for the first batch of enrollees came from the P2 million Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) of Rep. Vincent Crisologo.
PhilHealth also set up an information desk at the Serbisyo Caravan premises to help address members' inquiries about the National Health Insurance Program.
