PhilHealth, PCSO Sign MOA for Enrolment of Jeepney Drivers -

The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office and the Philippine Jeepney Operators and Drivers Alliance Foundation, Inc. (PJODAF) recently signed a tripartite agreement for the enrolment of about 200,000 jeepney drivers from different jeepney driver associations in Metro Manila under the Individually Paying Program of PhilHealth. The MOA calls for the PCSO and the PJODAF to equally share in the annual premium of the enrolled drivers from 2007 to 2011. Around 40,000 drivers will be enrolled each year based on the agreement.
