PhilHealth's VP for Membership and Contributions Marketing Group (MCMG) guests on "Serbisyo Muna" on NBN-4 - February 8, 2007
Gregorio Rulloda (middle), Vice President for MCMG discusses the new adjustment in the PhilHealth contribution schedule for Employed Sector in his recent guesting over NBN 4's TV program, "Serbisyo Muna." Rulloda clarified that the contribution schedule was only adjusted and not necessarily increased. Employees receiving P30,000.00 and above per month will be contributing P375 instead of the previous rate of P312.50. While employees receiving below P30,000.00 are not affected by the adjustment. Rulloda also informed the viewers about the new project of the national government to unify the ID system. The Unified Multi-Purpose ID System (UM-ID), will soon be pilot-tested in different regions before its full implementation this year. Among the government agencies included in the National Task Force (NTC) are PhilHealth, the National Statistics Office (NSO), the Social Security System (SSS), and the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA).
