President Arroyo leads ID Distribution in Manila -

The People's Government Mobile Caravan was recently held at P. Gomez Elementary School in Sta. Cruz, Manila. President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo graced the occasion as she awarded a PhilHealth ID to Nena D. Cabrera from Barangay 210. Together with Pres. Arroyo is a representative from the Philippine International Trading Corporation who informed the public of cheaper medicines that may be purchased from Botika ng Barangay or Botika ng Bayan outlets. Also present during the occasion were Rep. Naida Angpin and Mayor Alfredo Lim as the city government sponsored the medical and dental mission through the assistance of the Manila Health Department. Target sector of the caravan are the urban poor residing in nearby areas.
PhilHealth's NCR - North Marketing Head Donald Singzon extends greetings to a Family Health Card recipient from Barangay 210. A total of 50 I.D.s were distributed to constituents from Barangays 310 to 314. A team from PhilHealth NCR - North assisted the Department of Social Welfare and Development in conducting the interviews with some residents of the said barangays. Government agencies such as the National Bureau of Investigation, Public Attorney's Office and National Telecommunications Commission put up booths in the caravan area offering various services for visitors.
