Cavite government ensures PhilHealth coverage of informal sector

The provincial government of Cavite, under the leadership of Governor Erineo "Ayong" Maliksi (right) is facilitating the health insurance coverage of members of small organized groups in the province through a memorandum of agreement with PhilHealth. About 700 Caviteños who are members of organized groups of tricycle drivers, daily wage earners, as well as small-scale vendors will be enrolled with PhilHealth through the Kalusugang Sigurado at Abot-Kaya sa PhilHealth Insurance (KaSAPI) program. Maliksi is shown exchanging copies of the signed MOA with PhilHealth Acting President and CEO Lorna O. Fajardo in ceremonies held in Cavite, recently.
