VP Rulloda Guests on UNTV 37 - May 30, 2006
Gregorio C. Rulloda, Vice President for Membership and Contributions Management Group of PhilHealth recently guested on "Kaka in Action" over UN Television 37 to call on employers in the private and government sectors to remit their employees’ contributions on time. Rulloda emphasized that prompt and accurate payment of PhilHealth contributions ensures convenience when availing of the hospitalization benefits. Host Atty. Claire Castro asks about the possible sanctions that PhilHealth may impose on employers who continue to be remiss in their obligations.
Rulloda explains to Castro that members who wish to continue their PhilHealth coverage despite having been separated from employment may enroll under PhilHealth’s Individually Paying Program. "We also have our Non-Paying Program for retirees and pensioners who are at least 60 years old and have made 120 monthly contributions during their active years in service," he said. He also responded to at least 12 phone-in questions fielded by viewers during the one-hour program which was shown over Channel 21 on Sky and Home Cables and on Channel 37 on free TV.
