PhRO X Hosts LGU Bulacan’s Study Tour - May 3, 2006
PhilHealth Regional Office X recently hosted the study tour of delegates from the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Bulacan, to the province of Bukidnon.
The tour was participated in by ten local officials of Bulacan, headed by former Department of Health Undersecretary Antonio Lopez who is now the province’s consultant on health programs. The delegation wants to study the implementation of the Sponsored Program in Bukidnon and how the investment in health care financing brought reforms to the province’s health system.
Part of their two-day study tour was a visit to the on-going construction of the public secondary hospital in Manolo Fortich, to a public medical center in Malaybalay City and to the Provincial Health Station (PHS) in Kisolon, Sumilao town, Bukidnon City.
