PhilHealth Signs Tripartite Health Agreement - April 15, 2003
The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhiHealth) recently entered into a tripartite Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the local government of Agusan del Sur and Agusan del Sur Federation of Women's Health Cooperatives (FWHC) for the provision of health insurance coverage to 600 FWHC members from five (5) municipalities in the province. This is the first time that a health tripartite MOA was signed in Agusan del Sur in support to the implementation of the Women's Health and Safe Motherhood Project in the municipalities of Bunawan, Esperanza, San Luis, Veruela and Santa Josefa.
