PhilHealth is back in Quezon City
- July 18, 2003

The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), in its mission to make social health insurance accessible to all its members, opens its third Service Office today in Quezon City, one of the largest populated area in the National Capital Region.

Located at D & E Building, 1050 Quezon Avenue in Quezon City, the newly opened Service Office welcomes its doors to residents and employers to obtain answers to most of their Medicare concerns without going to PhilHealth’s Central Office in Pasig City.

Dr. Francisco T. Duque III, PhilHealth President & CEO expresses his confidence that members can now be assured that with the growing number of offices being opened by PhilHealth, a more accessible and dynamic quality health service shall be given to them, “from the time that PhilHealth has moved into its new home in Pasig City, we understand that most of our members from the Quezon City area had a difficulty transacting business with our Central Office. With the opening of the Quezon City Service Office , PhilHealth once again makes itself accessible to the members who have been with us through the past eight years.”

The Quezon City Service Office is open from 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m, Mondays to Fridays. It will be staffed by frontliners from Departments Membership, Claims, Contribution Accounts, Accreditation and Treasury. Part of the services offered are enrollment of new Individually Paying and Non-Paying members, submission of quarterly remittance reports for the employed sector and payment of premium contributions .

Dr. Duque concludes “PhilHealth will continuously reach out to its members. Being a government owned and controlled corporation, our priority is to deliver quality service to all our members and our health service providers.”
