PhilHealth Celebrates National Health Insurance Program Month

The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) is spearheading this year's nationwide observance of February as National Health Insurance Program Month, as it marks its 17th Anniversary celebration on February 14 with the theme "Sa PhilHealth, Pinalawak na Benepisyo…Garantisado."

The month-long celebration will be highlighted by a Press Conference; launch of the UHC campaign logo and of various electronic services including PhilHealth's new website; a run-for-a-cause to be held simultaneously in six (6) cities in Mindanao; a Scientific Forum, a forum with Local Chief Executives, with OFWs, and with accredited collecting agents. There will also be a Family Day for employees, a nationwide convention of PhilHealth officers, a tiangge, sports activities, a roving PhilHealth registration activity, opening of infodesks at leading malls, a corporate social responsibility activity with senior citizens, among others.
